Hi, we are Emma and Camilla…
We’re two mums with five daughters between us, aged 3 to 16, raising our families on a farm, close to nature, on the South Devon coast.
Frustrated by complicated labels and skincare that didn’t feel right for us or our families, we set out to make something different.
That’s how Salcombe Tallow Co. began… rooted in simplicity, natural living, and the belief that our skin deserves the same care and nourishment as the food we eat.
Because if you wouldn’t eat chemicals, synthetic fragrances, or plastic fillers… why put them on your skin?
Living on the farm led us to TALLOW, an age-old, skin-loving ingredient that changed everything for us.
What began as a personal need for honest, effective skincare grew into something deeper: a way to reconnect with nature, slow down, and care for ourselves and our families with real intention.
Today, every product we make is handmade with purity and purpose, is gentle for all ages and skin types… helping you glow naturally, age gracefully, and feel truly nurtured.

Our Philosophy

Our grass-fed tallow is sourced from organic farms where animals are raised with care and respect. Nothing is wasted. Every part has a purpose. It’s our way of honouring the full cycle of life, and creating something truly nourishing from it.

Made with Intention
Most days, you’ll find us in the kitchen… music playing softly (Chantress Seba is our favourite!), hands busy blending a fresh batch of balm.
We craft each pot using simple tools: glass bowls, wooden spoons, and stainless steel pots. No plastic. No shortcuts. Our packaging reflects the same thought. Reusable glass jars, aluminium lids, and kraft boxes that tread lightly on the earth.
